A Transformer-Based Feature Segmentation and Region Alignment Method for UAV-View Geo-Localization

چکیده
Cross-view geo-localization is a task of matching the same geographic image from different views, e.g., unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and satellite. The most difficult challenges are position shift uncertainty distance scale. Existing methods mainly aimed at digging for more comprehensive fine-grained information. However, it underestimates importance extracting robust feature representation impact alignment. CNN-based have achieved great success in cross-view geo-localization. However still has some limitations, can only extract part information neighborhood scale reduction operations will make lost. In particular, we introduce simple efficient transformer-based structure called Feature Segmentation Region Alignment (FSRA) to enhance model’s ability understand contextual as well distribution instances. Without using additional supervisory information, FSRA divides regions based on heat transformer’s map, then aligns multiple specific views one one. Finally, integrates each region into set representations. difference that does not divide manually, but automatically map. So instances be divided aligned when there significant shifts changes image. addition, sampling strategy proposed overcome disparity number satellite images other sources. Experiments show method superior performance achieves state-of-the-art both tasks drone view target localization navigation.

متن کاملA Fast Texture Feature Extraction Method for Region- based Image Segmentation
Region-based image segmentation is one popular approach to image segmentation of generic images. In these methods, an image is partitioned into connected regions by grouping neighboring pixels of similar features, and adjacent regions are then merged with respect to the similarities between the features in these regions. To achieve fine-grain segmentation at the pixel level, we must be able to ...
متن کاملA New Global Alignment Method for Feature Based Image Mosaicing
Over the past decade, image mosaicing has become as an important tool for several different areas such as panoramic photography, mapping, scene stabilization, video indexing and compression. Although recent advances in detection of image correspondences have resulted in very good image registration, global alignment is still needed to obtain a globally coherent mosaic. Normally, global alignmen...
متن کاملA Novel Method for Skin Lesion Segmentation
Skin cancer has been the most usual and illustrates 50% of all new cancers detected each year. If they detected at an early stage, treatment can become simple and economically. Accurate skin lesion segmentation is important in automated early skin cancer detection and diagnosis systems. The aim of this study is to provide an effective approach to detect the skin lesion border on a purposed imag...
